Family: I am married and have three children, 2 daughters and a son. We live on a small farm just outside of Sterling. We have been in Sterling since 1988 and my husband and I are both teachers at Sterling Public Schools.
Education: I earned my first degree from Peru State college in 1986. I went on to get my teaching degree from Kearney State College and my Spanish endorsement from Wayne State College.
Teaching career: I have taught Spanish and Social Studies classes since 1991 at SHS. I began teaching distance learning classes beginning in 1997 and currently teach to both Sterling and Johnson-Brock. I truly enjoy working with kids and the adventure of teaching via distance learning. !Mis estudiantes son fabulosos!
Extra-curricular activities: I have coached both volleyball and basketball while at Sterling.... Go Jets! I also help my daughter Brielle with her Special Olympics sports. I am currently the sophomore class sponsor as well.
Personal interests: Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, doing crafts and volunteering with Sterling Women of Today and my church.
